Updates from PRACC

Prevention and Recovery Alliance Clark County (PRACC) develops innovative solutions and efforts to address the opioid epidemic in Clark County. Formerly known as the Clark County Opioid Taskforce, this workgroup reflects key stakeholders across the county. The group’s biggest goal is to achieve zero overdose-related deaths.

As part of their work, PRACC is hosting Transforming Our Communities: Learning together, supporting each other on June 27 and 28. This annual 2-day event aims to bring diverse participants together to understand the perspectives of people who use drugs, understand the importance of equitable access to care and services, build partnerships and connect people within their communities, and brainstorm new and fresh ideas.

This year’s event is a hybrid format, with virtual sessions in the morning and in-person sessions at Bridgeview Resource Center in the afternoon. Individuals can choose to view the virtual sessions at Bridgeview as well.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Anyone interested can attend, but registration is required. More information regarding the event is also available on the registration page.
