Harm Reduction Is Happening—Right Here in Southwest Washington

Over the past five weeks we’ve gone deep on what harm reduction really means—beyond the headlines and into the everyday work of keeping people safe. From the core principles of harm reduction to community organizations and local solutions here in Southwest Washington we’ve shared stories, strategies and opportunities to get involved.

While the campaign is wrapping up, harm reduction is ongoing. Whether it’s carrying naloxone, challenging stigma or supporting policies that center care over punishment every step matters. This work is about meeting people where they are and giving them the tools to survive, heal and thrive on their own terms.

See a look back below of the last five week of the series. Don’t forget to follow along on social media to keep up with future SWACH initiatives and see how Community Health Improvement is leading the harm reduction effort!

This work is for all of us.

At SWACH, we know that harm reduction works—but it only works when it’s rooted in community, backed by policy, and supported by people who care.

Thank you for being part of that. Whether you’ve read an article, shared a post, or joined a conversation—we’re glad you’re here. Let’s keep going.
