Current Funding Opportunities

SWACH strives to provide funding to community organizations embarking on inspiring projects regularly. In January of 2023, we overhauled our open funding opportunities to be more equitable and accessible. As part of this process, we have two open funding opportunities: Ad-hoc funding and event sponsorship requests.

Ad-hoc Funding Requests

Ad-hoc funding requests generally support programmatic work (not events), are capped at $25,000 per request, must be mission-aligned in Clark, Skamania, and/or Klickitat Counties, and work to eliminate racial and health disparities.

Ad-hoc funding applications will be reviewed by the newly launched staff Equity in Action Committee, and decisions will be made based on a decision-making matrix. The committee will convene once each quarter (starting in July) to review submitted applications. Eventually, a sub-committee of SWACH’s Board of Trustees will be tasked with reviewing these submissions. The committee will consist primarily of community members in an attempt to shift decision-making power to our community directly.

Event Sponsorship Application

SWACH is accepting applications for event sponsorships. Sponsored events should uplift and support the community in some way. Approved sponsorship requests will be eligible for up to $1,000. The application also includes room for how you would like our organization to show up at the event. This is a great space to tell us whether or not our participation is appropriate and how we can provide additional support.
