Changes to Board of Trustees

Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health is fortunate to have a remarkable Board of Trustees. The SWACH Board comprises individuals from related organizations, partner groups, and the community. SWACH staff and Board members work closely to ensure organizational success and planning.

Before the Annual Board of Trustees meeting, held later this week, we want to recognize two changes to Board membership.

Welcoming Jackie Esperance

SWACH is excited to welcome Jackie Esperance to our Board of Trustees. Jackie brings 15 years of experience working with Medicaid payors and populations and is currently employed by Legacy Health.

When asked why she wanted to participate as a member of the Board of Trustees, Jackie said “participating on the SWACH Board of Trustees allows me to have a voice to support innovative initiatives to continue to improve coordinated care and services for community members. In addition, I will have the opportunity to bring shared learnings, ideas, and challenges members are facing to my health system leadership team in order to improve access to care.”

We look forward to Jackie’s leadership as a member of the Board of Trustees. Join us in welcoming her!

Recognizing Board of Trustees President Dawn Tolotti

Current Board President, Dawn Tolotti will be stepping down once her term concludes at the end of 2022. SWACH is deeply grateful for her support and leadership during her time as Board President.

Dawn joined the SWACH Board of Trustees in June 2020 and she became Board President in 2021. During her time on the Board of Trustees, Dawn led SWACH through changes in leadership, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, preparing for the second Medicaid Transformation Project (MTP) waiver, and so much more.

"Dawn has had such a positive impact on our organization,” said Nichole Peppers, SWACH Executive Director. “Her expertise, leadership, and dedication to this work furthered SWACH's mission of 'bringing partners together to create equitable, sustainable systems change.' I am thankful for all she did for us over her two-year term as Board President and two and a half years as a board member."

Dawn’s steady leadership was crucial as our organization navigated unique and unprecedented challenges. Her support and guidance are greatly appreciated by our staff. We wish her the best in her future endeavors. Join us in thanking Dawn for her time and service!
