Ami Hanna Receives Lifeline Connections Award

Ami Hanna, SWACH’s Collaborative Impact Project Manager, was recently awarded the Community Award from Lifeline Connections. The award recognizes Ami’s incredible contribution and work with our partners.

Each year, Lifeline Connections staff, leadership, and other entities nominate individuals who fulfill Lifeline’s mission and advance the care of people with substance use and mental health conditions in our communities. Ami received three separate nominations for her great work.

“I really value our partnership with Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health (SWACH),” said one nomination. “They partnered with the Lifeline/Recovery Resource Center in our Narcan vending machine. I would love to nominate [Ami] for the Community Partner Award.”

“I want to second the nomination for Ami Hanna,” said the second nomination. “I also work with her for Outpatient Competency Restoration, and she sets up and coordinates two of the Trueblood committee meetings. She has been wonderful about coordinating with the courts and jail to raise awareness about Outpatient Competency Restoration and other Trueblood programs and has facilitated having a strong judge presence at the monthly Trueblood taskforce meetings.”

“I third the nomination for Ami Hanna for the excellence award. She has been a pivotal person during the development of our intern program. She has always been responsive, supportive, and willing to problem-solve collaboratively,” said the third nomination.

SWACH is proud to have Ami as a part of our team. Her work across multiple themes and topics has had a significant impact on our community.

“Ami has been an advocate for equitable, person-centered, no-barrier care for her community, and it’s amazing to see her dedication recognize,” said Sarah Dryfoos, SWACH Director of Equity and Collaborative Impact, and Ami’s supervisor.

“Ami has worked in SUD/OUD, Behavioral Health, CHW training and workforce development, Infant and Parental health, and other areas over the years. She’s such an advocate for change, and so deserving of this recognition,” they continued.

Join us in celebrating Ami’s excellent achievement!
