Community Mediation Services (CMS) is delivering a four-hour housing-focused de-escalation training. This interactive session provides frontline workers with practical strategies for managing housing-related conflicts. Participants will learn de-escalation techniques, active listening, and the role of body language in conflict resolution. The training also covers tenant rights and responsibilities and shares insights from CMS’s experience in the ERPP program as non-lawyers navigating housing law. Attendees will leave with valuable tools to defuse tense situations and foster more constructive communication with clients.
