Sarah Dryfoos

Sarah received a BA in Planning, Public Policy and Management from the University of Oregon. They studied environmental policy and urban planning. Sarah also received an MPH from Portland State University and Oregon Health Science University, where their focus of study was racial and socioeconomic health disparities.

Prior to joining SWACH Sarah was the Program Manager Health Equity Strategy for MultiCare Health Systems. Here Sarah worked closely with community partners to identify health disparities and develop system wide interventions to eliminate any disparities found. Sarah is also a Co-Founder and Principal at Revolution Lab; a social impact and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion consulting firm.

Sarah has experience in the Medicaid environment, where they served as the Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Evaluation at the Oregon Primary Care Association – a statewide membership association for Federally Qualified Health Centers. In this role, Sarah created robust strategic plans that were actionable and incorporated equity and community voice to improve population health outcomes.

Sarah is originally from Northern California and had the opportunity to live abroad in Vietnam and Guatemala, where they taught English, worked to establish a community-based organization, traveled and practiced ashtanga and yin yoga. In their free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with their wife and dog, making ceramics, swimming, backpacking, cooking, going to see music and art.
