SWACH Employee named Clark County First Citizen

The community Foundation for Southwest Washington recently named SWACH’s Diana Avalos-Leos as the Clark County First Citizen 2020. The annual First Citizen Award is presented to a Clark County resident who has modeled exemplary citizenship through actions and service to community. Recipients are chosen for their accomplishments and contributions to the community in a number of areas including, exemplary giving of time and self, cultivating inclusive civic engagement practices, and a long-term record of service and effective leadership. A volunteer committee of community leaders and past recipients for the First Citizen Award selects the recipient.

In addition to this honor, Diana was also recently appointed by Gov. Jay Inslee to the Washington Exchange Board.
