SWACH Board of Trustees Seeks New Members

Is creating equitable and sustainable health systems change that reduces costs and improves whole-person wellness for all something you care deeply about?  Does lack of access to behavioral health services, alternatives for those fighting substance use disorders, or affordable housing top your list of concerns?

If so, please consider joining with local health and community leaders to improve whole-person health in Southwest Washington.

Consider joining the Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health (SWACH) Board of Trustees

SWACH is partnering with health systems and addressing policies to improve the lives of our most vulnerable community members in Clark, Klickitat, and Skamania counties.  SWACH convenes and build bridges between service organizations, including physical health, behavioral health, housing, food, transportation, treatment and recovery services, and employment services.  SWACH seeks to help all “connect the dots” for those we serve and enable them to successfully navigate our community’s many services in order to realize healthier and happier lives.

Board of Trustee Openings

SWACH has current openings on its Board of Trustees, and is looking for interested volunteers that would like to be a part of this healthy living organization.  We value diverse backgrounds and experience.  Key accountabilities include overseeing organizational planning, ensuring fiscal goals are met and providing oversight that is consistent with SWACH’s mission, vision, values and governance practices.

Time Commitment

The Board of Trustees meet six times per year.  A Board member is expected to participate in at least 75% of board meetings, serve on a committee, as appropriate, and represent SWACH in the community.  This represents approximately 30 hours per year.
