March HealthConnect Updates

As part of the HealthConnect Bulletin, we wanted to share three important updates from the hub.

  • The next Common Principles and Practices Training is set for May 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th. HealthConnect will send out registration soon for our partnering Community Health Workers and Peers who have not yet taken this training. Training topics include CHW/Peers Profession, Popular Education, Trauma Informed Care, Social Determinants of Health, Cross-Cultural Skills, Community Engagement Skills, Self-Care, and Ethics and Boundaries.

  • Since beginning the new year in January, the Pathways program has successfully assisted 36 individuals into stable housing in 2023.

  • The CareConnect WA program has assisted over 275 households with more than $370,000 of support through Housing Assistance Requests (HAR) in 2023. Since the program began in 2021, more than 2,400 households have been served with more than $3,000,000 worth of support.
