HealthConnect presents awards to CHW’s in SW Washington

On December 3, HealthConnect celebrated Community Health Workers across Southwest Washington with an awards ceremony and lunch at the Red Cross Building at Fort Vancouver.

The event was led by HealthConnect’s Mercedes Zahler, HealthConnect Community Engagement Manager, and Nicole Hamberger, HealthConnect Network Manager.

HealthConnect Cohort Awards

Peer of the Year: Honoring the Certified Peer who went above and beyond to support those stuck in the cycle of substance use or mental health crisis.

Recovery Coach Royality: Honoring the Recovery Coach who has brought the perfect balance of personal and professional experiences as tools to guide those in addiction and support their readiness for change.

Longevity Awards: recognizes the CBWs who have demonstrated exceptional dedication by working in the hub for the longest period, showcasing their commitment, expertise, and valuable contribution to the team’s success.

The Supervisor Award: recognizes outstanding leadership through a high sign-off rate, consistent meeting attendance, and responsive communication, all of which demonstrate a supervisor’s commitment to team success and effective management.
