As COVID-19 variants continue to affect our community, SWACH remains dedicated to keeping our region safe. Our office remains open, but the majority of our staff continues to work remotely. Washington State Department of Health COVID-19 Information Page. You can also call 1-800-525-0127 and press # from 6 am to 10 pm, seven days a week to have your questions answered, or text the word “Coronavirus” to 211211 to receive information and updates wherever you are.

Many providers and Managed Care Organizations (Medicaid/Apple Health insurance providers) are encouraging utilizing telehealth services, which allow patients to see a doctor by phone or video, for non-emergency issues . Please contact your provider or insurance carrier (Molina, CHPW, Amerigroup, Coordinated Care, etc.) directly to learn what options may be available.
The DEA also has some guidance about using telemedicine and electronic prescribing for controlled substances.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the state is standing up a crisis support program called Washington Listens. Washington Listens provides non-clinical-based support to people experiencing elevated stress due to COVID-19.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently added a COVID-19 Communication Toolkit For Migrants, Refugees, and Other Limited-English-Proficient Populations. Resources are available in 26 languages to help public health professionals, health departments, community organizations, and healthcare systems and providers reach populations who may need COVID-19 prevention messaging in their native languages.

Child Care Aware has a hotline to help find child care - call 1-800-446-1114
Clark County Dental Association has put together a list of dentists providing emergency dental services.
Mental Health America has extensive library of information and resources regarding mental health and COVID
Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities has several resources, including this list of meal delivery options, grocery delivery, and special shopping hours for high-risk individuals in Clark County. Clark County Food Bank has a list of Food Pantry Sites and other ways to get food.
The Washington State Employment Security Department has programs designed to help individuals and employers affected by COVID-19. You may also be eligible for WA State Paid Family and Medical leave.
The Washington State Health Benefit Exchange announced a limited-time special enrollment period for qualified individuals who are currently without insurance.
Clark County Sheriff's Office has started the Senior Wellness Check program - a free service utilizing volunteers to make regular contact with participants by phone
The Disaster Distress Helpline is a 24/7, 365-day-a-year, national hotline dedicated to providing immediate crisis counseling for people who are experiencing emotional distress related to any natural or human-caused disaster. This toll-free, multilingual, and confidential crisis support service is available to all residents in the United States and its territories. Stress, anxiety, and other depression-like symptoms are common reactions after a disaster. Call 1-800-985-5990 or text TalkWithUs to 66746 to connect with a trained crisis counselor.

Workforce Southwest WA has information on resources for individuals and businesses impacted by COVID-19.
Non-profit partners may be eligible for a grant from the Community Foundation of SW Washington's COVID Response Fund. Individuals are also able to donate to that fund here
The US Small Business Association also has resources including disaster assistance loans

WA Department of Licensing has extended expiration dates on driver's licenses for 90 days and expanded online services for renewals
For people experiencing housing insecurity, Council for the Homeless regularly updates their website with information.

Students from Washington State University-Vancouver (WSUV) created a list of resources for people who may need some help during the school closures. Leaders of SWWA LULAC, Vancouver.Wa NAACP, Clark County Latino Youth Conference, and Latino Community Resource Group will continue to update it as more information is available.
