A Message from SWACH

To our organization’s supporters and partners,

Each election cycle leads to change at the national, state and local level with very real impacts in our communities in Southwest Washington. As we face another moment of such change, I want to personally reach out to reaffirm our dedication to the communities across Clark, Klickitat and Skamania counties. As an organization, our focus remains steadfast: we are dedicated to the pursuit of health equity, driven by a constant commitment to uplift our community through partnership and innovation to address barriers to wellbeing. We champion sustainable initiatives that promote health and wellness for all.

Health equity is crucial to our work - we strongly believe that everyone should have access to the care and resources they need, in a way that addresses the unique barriers they face. Our commitment to that purpose has never been stronger.

At SWACH, our work is rooted in our community. We are dedicated to addressing critical needs, and advancing health equity for everyone in our region. In moments of change, whether big or small, or organization will stay focused and true to our mission and the work connected to it.

I also welcome you to join SWACH and Fourth Plain Forward for our Community Care Gathering next Tuesday, November 12, 2024. This event is designed as a safe and welcoming space for post-election reflection, connection, and healing. Whether you need time to reflect, connect with others, or recharge, this event offers intentional spaces for rest and rejuvenation, including affinity spaces for deeper conversations and support. Registration and more information are available on our website.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment and trust in our mission. Let us continue to move forward together for the support and empowerment of our communities.

In community,

Nichole Peppers,
SWACH Executive Director
