ToP Facilitation Methods help groups to think, talk, and work together. Learn to facilitate a conversation that leads from ideas to understanding, resulting in action. Learn and practice the core methods with us for either 2 days or 3 days- July 30, 31, and August 1st.

For those of you joining us for 2 days of the 3 days offered this summer, you will learn the two foundational methods of Technology of Participation (ToP), Focused Conversation Method and Consensus Workshop Method. Focused Conversation creates the foundation for groups to move from surface to depth and get a meaningful exchange of ideas. Consensus Workshop Method is an engaging and structured process that energizes groups to reach consensus.

and finally if you join us for a 3rd day, you will get introduced to the Action Planning Process. This process lays out practical steps to help groups plan, organize resources and build commitment to execute a short term project such as a fundraising event, neighborhood park opening, or campaign,etc.

There will be lots of opportunities to practice the methods taught and get feedback!
